01. Experimental tools and permitted use
All Pooya Labs tools, demonstrations, APIs, workflows, and outputs are experimental. They are provided for evaluation, research, and general information. A tool remains experimental even if it is described as “live” or “tested,” or lets you sign in. Features, models, sources, and outputs may change, fail, or be withdrawn without notice.
These conditions apply to this website and the tools linked from it, unless a separate written agreement governs a particular service. “You” means the individual user and any organization they act for. You must have authority to submit the material and accept the conditions that apply. If you do not agree, do not use the tools.
02. No legal advice or attorney–client relationship
Nothing on this site or produced by a tool is legal advice, a legal opinion, or a recommendation for a particular matter. It does not replace advice from an attorney you have engaged. Outputs are generated by software and may not have been reviewed by an attorney. Development or testing by a licensed attorney does not make an output legal advice.
Using the site, creating an account or client workspace, uploading material, receiving an output, or discussing a tool does not by itself establish an attorney–client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship with Pooya Shoghi, Pooya Labs, any contributor, or any law firm. “Client” and “reviewer” are software roles. Legal representation requires separate acceptance and an agreement through the attorney’s usual engagement process.
Pooya Labs is an independent technology project. The developer’s professional affiliations do not imply that a law firm endorses, operates, or takes responsibility for these tools.
03. Do not submit confidential or privileged information
Use only public, synthetic, or otherwise non-confidential information that you are authorized to share with the service and its providers. Do not submit client confidences, privileged communications, attorney work product, trade secrets, unpublished inventions or patent applications, nonpublic business information, passwords, private keys, regulated personal information, or other sensitive material.
These tools are not a confidential legal intake service. Entering material here does not make it a confidential attorney–client communication. A “confidential” label, account, private workspace, email code, no-training setting, or ZDR policy does not by itself create privilege or a professional duty of confidentiality. Sharing information with a third-party service may affect confidentiality, privilege, or intellectual-property rights.
By submitting material, you confirm that it is non-confidential for this purpose, that you have the necessary permissions, and that processing it will not breach a duty to someone else. These conditions do not make private information public, authorize unrestricted publication, or override duties imposed by law.
04. Your responsibility to verify every output
By using a tool, you agree to independently verify its output before relying on it, sharing it, submitting it to a client or tribunal, or using it in a filing or business decision. Obtain review by a qualified attorney where legal rights or obligations are involved. You remain responsible for the resulting work and decisions.
Check the original sources, quotations, citations, dates, facts, governing law, claims, and prosecution record. Confirm that each cited source exists and supports the stated proposition. Check proposed amendments for disclosure support and their effect on claim scope. A score, confidence label, passed check, or polished explanation is not proof of accuracy.
05. Limits of patent analysis and prediction
Claim charts and constructions are proposed analyses. They do not establish infringement, noninfringement, validity, invalidity, enforceability, or freedom to operate. Searches may miss relevant art or records. A disclosure score does not establish patentability, enablement, written-description support, inventorship, ownership, or readiness to file.
Art unit estimates may be inaccurate, and their reported probabilities may not reflect actual outcomes. They do not guarantee or control a USPTO assignment, examiner, rejection, allowance, cost, or result. A pattern in past assignments does not prove that changing particular wording will change an assignment. Proposed amendments may narrow claim scope, add unsupported subject matter, or otherwise harm a legal position.
The tools do not track or satisfy filing deadlines, limitation periods, response obligations, disclosure duties, or other legal requirements. Maintain your own records and deadline controls.
06. No representations or warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE, TOOLS, DATA, AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS,” “AS AVAILABLE,” AND WITH ALL FAULTS. POOYA LABS, POOYA SHOGHI, AND CONTRIBUTORS DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AND RELIABILITY.
No representation or warranty is made that the services or outputs will be current, correct, unique, legally sufficient, secure, confidential, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your purpose; that defects will be corrected; or that any result will be obtained. Descriptions, examples, test results, professional credentials, and security statements do not create additional warranties or guarantees. This disclaimer does not excuse a materially false factual statement or override an express obligation that cannot lawfully be disclaimed.
07. Assumption of risk and limitation of liability
You use the tools and act on their outputs at your own risk, subject to rights and duties that cannot lawfully be excluded. Keep your own copies of anything you need. The tools are not a backup service.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pooya Labs, Pooya Shoghi, and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the services or outputs. This includes lost profits, business opportunities, data, confidentiality, privilege, intellectual-property rights, and the consequences of erroneous analysis or missed deadlines, regardless of the legal theory and even if the possibility was known.
To the extent a monetary limitation is permitted, aggregate liability arising from the experimental services is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid directly to Pooya Labs for the affected tool during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The exclusions and cap do not apply to liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
08. Third-party processing and services
The tools may use external model providers, routing services, search services, storage, hosting, sign-in services, and other providers. Their availability and data policies may change. Links to other sites are not endorsements or guarantees of their content.
No-training and ZDR settings do not mean your information stays on your device or is never stored elsewhere. The Security measures page explains the settings and their limits. A model-provider setting does not guarantee that the whole service meets your confidentiality, retention, security, or regulatory requirements.
09. Authorized use and third-party claims
You must comply with applicable law and relevant professional and contractual duties. Do not submit material without permission, access another user’s records, evade access or usage controls, disrupt the service, or misrepresent generated work as independently verified attorney work.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Pooya Labs, Pooya Shoghi, and contributors for third-party claims and reasonable expenses resulting from your unlawful submissions, infringement of another person’s rights, or material violation of these use conditions. This provision does not require indemnification for a protected party’s own misconduct or operate as an impermissible waiver of professional duties or liability.
10. Mandatory rights, professional duties, and changes
Nothing here waives rights that cannot be waived, limits liability where the law prohibits it, or removes duties imposed by law or an actual attorney–client relationship. These terms are not an advance waiver of legal-malpractice liability. Using this site does not amend an existing written legal engagement.
If a provision cannot be enforced, it applies only to the extent allowed by law; the remaining provisions continue to apply. Changes to these terms apply prospectively and will be marked with an updated date. A separate signed agreement controls where it expressly conflicts with these conditions. Stop using the tools if you do not accept the applicable conditions.
